We Can Help Software FAQ Platforms of Clients A Central Database Flexible
Summary
A graphic view of how Citrix works in conjunction with SQL to minimize bandwidth and maximize speed for remote offices.

Citrix / SQL Model

  1. The client data resides in a SQL Database called ClientsPrime on a SQL Server at
the Main Office. No data transfer is necessary.

  2. The CFW front-end resides on Citrix Server, at the Main Office. There is one CFW front-
end and either a runtime or full version of Access for each user of the program located in
each user profile on the Citrix Server.

   3. There can be a custom SQL tables for each office that allows the storage of office unique
information such as Calendar, Intake Sheet defaults, case numbering and setup information.

  4. Nothing resides on the User's Workstation except the ICA client (Independent Computing
Architecture) that allows the User's computer to use the case management system at the
  Main Office.

   5. Connections to the system occur through the WAN. Bandwidth requirements are 12-20K
  per user.

  6. The speed of the system is determined by the servers at the Main Office, NOT the
computers that are using it via the WAN.
